This is my blog assignment #5. I will write it by using process and Technic throughout this draft for my Narrative project. After watching some videos from The Wizard of Oz Which has helped me to have inspiration and understand also how to write a narrative based on emotional moment in my life when I was in Mali
How does your narrative allow you to travel into your brain (mind) then and now? This inspiration helped me to have memory and look back to my childhood moment to try to recall and remember exactly in order to describe well. Its also like re watching a video that you taped it in the pass.It gives me a emotional moment to describe my pass and tell it like is happening right now when I look back to my pass at how I felt then and how I feel about it now it lets me get an understanding of how I can go back that moments in my life. This writing will be based a true stories of my life . When I try to explain this emotional moment of my pass and my childhood , its like I am start to be be kind of little difficult for because i feel like I am going back to life in the pass How does your narrative meet the nerve (high-stakes) element of meaningful storytelling? My narrative has allowed me to travel into my emotions also I knew how I deal with pain coming from of others around me and in my life. It gave me a deep understanding how to describe and tell my emotions in proper narrative way. It helped to recognize a specific time of my emotions in the past. How does your narrative enable you to re-examine the power (agency) you have in authoring your life-story? My narrative has allowed me to understand that I have in authoring my life-story by showing that I could choose to express about myself in some way, I could have control of any kind of situation in my life. I choose how to feel about certain life events and I can take ownership of these situations by telling the story from my own perspective. Narratives give me the power to have a voice in my life even when me feel like almost everything is out of my control. It can show that I can choose how to react to any situations that may happen in the life, How does your narrative enable you to re-examine the power (agency) you have in authoring your life-story? It allowed me how to be strong in such situation ,and how to take the life easy, We do not have to make our self vulnerable. What shapes our sense of identity: Life events or the stories we tell ourselves about life events? Life events and the stories that we tell ourselves about life events shapes our sense of identity. I believe that it has impact someway on my sense of identity. We may pick some stories we tell ourselves about life events. The reason I say this is because when things happen to us, we may feel differently about them after we've thought about them. For example, when my girlfriend left me at that time that I found out how bad that kind of behavior is. I was very upset .

My story is inspired Hill Like With Elephants (Ernest Hemingway)
In this story the symbolism is very used It was May , I was reading in my bedroom to get prepare for the final exam of my classes. My little sister knocks on my door ,and says Abou are there .I though She may need me to ask me for me for a favor as usual. I slowly opened my door she say I have a good new for you . I got dressed put on my clothes. “Don't be shy to call this honey , she is waiting for your call”. my sister I run back to my room to make a call “Allo this is Abou” i said Allo cava Abou She says “I’m sorry if I woke you up “ ‘No, It;s ok “ by the way How are you today ? are you free tonight to go out ? I say “Let me go to my room so I can talk because there are people surrounding me in the dining room. I’m walking up to my room please hold on “. “Ok i'm waiting for you, take your time” “Yes i am free tonight” what is your plan? “How about if we go to a cinema” Then we have been dating for six months I was looking for a right moment to engage with her. Because she was a unique person. Her kindness and her love was the most reason. I call her on her cell as usual was not going trough for several days . I started to be worried . After losing contact with her, two months later i received a call from an unknown number. “Hi Abou” she says “Hi oh you still alive” I say “I’m so sorry” “What do you mean by you sorry I need an explanation “. She kept silent for a moment the she says “I’m now In Italy you know things were going bad and there are a lot of things going around so i decided to immigrate “ I stayed wordless I felt said “Why did you act like that” “I'm sorry “ “Stop saying you sorry” “I don't know what to say” “Listen i wish you a god luck i wish you all the best “ Good bye I went down to my sister's room . I knocked the door can i get in ? she said” yes” “Do you know that my honey immigrated illegally to Italy ?” I'm so sorry she reply and huge me My name is Margaret . I am writing this story because it is kind of similar to Margaret ‘s one and it is also emotional moment and unforgettable situation happened to me and my friend . After a long shift of working which is usually ten hours . it was around midnight when we get in a shuttle bus of my company heading home. When we approach a checkpoint of the Police where they ask for ID and working permit for non Egyptian, A policeman pulled us over my hand started to shake of fear . When I arrived home that night I couldn't close my eyes .Then eryvery time i Hear the word monkey i remember that racisme action. "
This is my second blog of my English Composition class .The initiator of my assignment is my English teacher, Pr Sabatino Mangini. For this blog, I have to use three articles to explain what writing process is and how to make writing less stressful and easier . I have to write about three writers in this article. Against Vanity: In Praise of Revision (Mary Karr) Teach Writing as a Process Not a Product (Don Murray) Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life (Anne Lamott) Writing it's very important in academic life . Since writing it's also a big challenge for some students i would like to share some of the techniques and rules about writing process . “‘Every writer I know who’s worth a damn spends way more time “losing” than “winning When I first read this article for Marry Karr, I found it like a golden rules and advices at the same time for myself and for students because it gives a concrete technics to the writer to make good products. I also understood that writing process needs time and practice . Marry Karr quotes again "Reading through history cultivates in a writer a standard of quality higher than the marketplace. Reading a lot is one of the habit and technic which gives the writer a right tool in order to make good product. because writer need to be rich in vocabulary and terminology to use every word in his right places so reading the best way to be a good writer. "Revision is the secret to their troubles—and yours." Rewrite your work if need. because more you do it more you improve your writing.every writer need a self editor. Don Marry has contributed by giving some practical technics of writing process " It is important to the writer, once he has discovered what he has to say" we understand from his quote that on of the most important this is know what you going to write because that could help and prevent the writer to jump between subjects. "We have to be patient and wait, and wait, and wait" patience is one the door leading to the good process of writing .all the famous whose we read their books didn't become writer from click of eyes. It took them a lot of time. Anne Lamott "I don’t even know where to start," every writing encounters this issue .in the beginning of the writing usually we face this problem when you get lost you don't know how the structure should be or how to put ideas together. "Love the process of writing" love what you are doing that the thing gives you energy to progress "Don't be discouraged" One the of the first thing you will face its discourage of your work . you will think that you are bad in writing and will never improve . " please keep doing it and revising it " according to my own experience "Don't not translate the ideas from your language to English" Every language has his own structure . English is quit different from others language. then writer should not translate from his native language to English if he is not English native speaker . because this may not give clear meaning to his work .
